 | We went back to the rock show agan this year since the kids enjoyed it so much last year. This time around we let the kids each pick out something to buy. Megan picked out an Amethyst necklace that is absolutely perfect for her… …and Nick decided he wanted to crack open a geode. [...] We didn’t just by bedroom stuff at Ikea when we were there. We also got kitchen stuff! The kids got new cups (because who can resist such cute cups???) and then they each picked out an ice cube tray. Sitting in our freezer right now are blue ice cubes in our green starfish tray and [...] Nick has very recently taken on a new fascination At one point in his life,he was terrified of all things with legs. Along with his new love for Rusty (finally!!!),he’s taking an interest to all critters. Caterpillars,grasshoppers,birds,even spiders are all becoming things that he can’t keep his fingers off of. [...] With 3 of the 5 caterpillars surviving inside (the last 2 weren’t looking quite as healthy as the others,so I put them outside on the milkweed plant there to either thrive on live plant instead of picked leaves or get eaten by other animals –I’m all about the circle of life!),we’ve made [...] Did you know… butterflies lay their eggs one at a time on milkweed leaves? eggs stay there for four days before the caterpillar comes out? When the caterpillar comes out,it is so small that you can’t even see its stripes? Baby caterpillar. So small you can't see its stripes! Caterpillars shed their [...] | |||||
