 | I will post my camping blog post soon but first had to get down the details of my last post. So the weather was really awful on Sunday. We woke up,started breakfast,and it was sprinkling. Shortly after we put the bikes on the truck,in hopes that we’d drive out of it. No [...] Nick had his appointment yesterday at the beginning of the blizzard with his GI Specialist. It was great to visit with Nick’s doctor again. He is the only doc we’ve ever had where we feel like we’re his only patient. He takes time to chat with us,explain anything we are wondering about,and then [...] We’ve known for probably 6 months that a trip back to our GI doc was going to be necessary. We just didn’t know when. First we’d notice his belly was upset when we’d forget a dose of his meds. A while later we’d notice when he was fighting another bug at the same time. Then [...] Nick’s a healthy kid. There wasn’t really any question about this,but it’s still nice to hear from the pediatrician. He had his finger pricked for his hemoglobin (to which Nick said “ouch!”and then just watched. Not a tear came out of him (yet).
