Megan will be starting Girl Scouts in the fall and when we signed her up,we learned that there was a summer program going on where they’d send you information and crafts once a month all summer and you could work on those. Well two of the things Megan loves most are mail and crafts so we signed her up immediately. You can see one of the crafts she did here and this month she got a picture of a horse to color (they are hyping their horse camps…too bad she’s probably allergic and won’t ever be able to go) and if she did it,she could bring it in to the local Girl Scout office to get a prize. Well she did an awesome job! Her coloring has come so far since last year at this time. See?
So Thursday we went in to the Girl Scout office to bring them her picture. Much to her delight,she was given a necklace as a prize. The Girl Scouts went up a notch in her book when that happened. 
We also looked at the uniforms and the other things they had in the store. Imagine MY delight when I found the rack of Girl Scout Groovy Girls on clearance there! Mommy’s going to have to go shopping there sometime soon!
