We got a new dishwasher last week. It’s long overdue and we were excited to see the old one go. For the past 18 or so months the soap dispenser has been broken (despite repeated attempts to fix it). We’ve had to set a timer to remind us to add soap partway into the wash cycle. Makes it hard to start the dw as we leave the house or in the middle of the night so the noise doesn’t bother us.
Here’s the old dishwasher after Adam got it out of the kitchen.
Here’s the hole where it was. There’s a better picture of it later.
Our new one has been delivered! (and after a second delivery, we had a power cord for it too!)
after cleaning up the area where the dishwasher would go, I got a good laugh at our former flooring. This whole house was pink when we moved in! Yuck! Glad they changed this before we moved in!!!
This water spigot caused all sorts of hassle when Adam was installing the dishwasher! There was soldering, torches and all sorts of stress, but he got it figured out. He’s awesome!
Here’s the new dishwasher in and functioning. We need the trim pieces put in still but it’s been an absolutely crazy week. Hopefully this weekend…
filled with dishes!
The one thing we’re really having to adjust to is the silverware in the door. It’s going pretty well and it gives us tons more space in the dishwasher but we’re still trying ways to make our dishwasher filling more time efficient…
I love my new dishwasher!
