Nick’s talking has exploded in the past week. It’s really come a LONG way! He’s doing multi-word sentences and most of the time I’m super proud.
Yesterday at Target we were buying some mini-lunchables (no time to go home and make lunch before picking M up from school –it was a busy morning!) and the person checking us out gave Nick a sticker. As we were leaving Nick said,“fake you very much wunch,‘ticker too”(thank you very much for the lunch. Sticker too). I beamed with pride and told him what a good boy he was.
Sometimes the pride isn’t there though. Nick’s new favorite phrase,I’m afraid,is “I bite it”. When it’s a sandwich,it’s a good thing. Lego? Not so good. Yesterday we were walking hand-in-hand and I heard those words again. “I bite it”Just as my brain started processing what had come out of his mouth,I feel a tug on my arm and the grazing of teeth on my hand. Ouch! We’re going to work on the “I bite it”thing a bit more…

Oh Nick!!! So cute, but oh so sneaky!!
