The past two years have been incredibly difficult in some ways and so very very satisfying in others. Nick can be a sweet, sensitive and very cuddly boy. He loves playing with anything with wheels and sports are hugely exciting to him. We can’t drive by a basketball hoop without a “uh uuuuuuuh!!” sound from the back seat (which is Nick’s sound effects while he throws a basketball into the hoop) and then a “yeah!” or “oh. miss” afterwards, depending on whether he made the basket or not.
*Loves chicken, broccoli, and hot sauce (Daddy is so proud)
*Hates green beans
*Still doesn’t like Rusty but loves his bear Sawyer and his dog Coco
*Loves to play outside and run around.
*throws. Everything. Rocks, balls, trucks, toys his sister wants
*just learning to jump
*loves making messes, stomping in puddles
*is very particular about clothes and if you try to put something on him that he doesn’t want on, he’ll hold his hand up and say “no fake you” (no thank you)
*is eager to please, as long as he’s in a good mood
*favorite show is “Handy Manny”
*favorite song is “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”
*favorite book is… anything with construction equipment or vehicles of any kind
I went out several times yesterday to get the perfect b-day picture of Nick and the ones with the good smile and twinkle in his eye (something that is impossible to catch with the camera usually) were all blurry. Bah… Here’s my favorites, though.
#1 – it’s a tiny bit blurry – since I’ll blow it up to 8×10 I don’t want it blurry as a small picture because it will be worse as a big one.
This one has that look in his eye that I adore but my stupid sleeve got in the way. Darn!
This one will just always make me laugh even though it’s a terrible picture. I set him up on a branch in a tree. This is the only smiling picture I got. The rest he was saying that it was ‘cary. He didn’t much like it. at all.
