		<description>As far as I know, yes, you can take it off the vine now.   I would leave the stem attached, so cut above it on the main vine and leave the stem both as a handle as because I think it helps it cure.   I think your biggest problem now is that it might rot out before Halloween.   Keep it from freezing, at least, and probably not direct sun, either.</description>
