We had a great night last night! The boat harbor in town usually puts on fireworks on the 3rd of July and it’s usually a great show. Because of the flood the fireworks didn’t happen last year or this year. We found out on Tuesday or so that they were happening this weekend but that the police didn’t want it heavily publicized because they were concerned about security with so many empty houses on there. It was publicized on the local news. 
There were a lot of people there but not as many as other years,which worked to our advantage. We got great seats and really enjoyed ourselves!

And another. These really were much more impressive after it got dark –it’s just hard to take good pictures in the dark.
One boat had dance music and our dancer had to show off her moves. I got some video on my camera too. I’ll check that out later today and post it if it’s any good.
Since Megan was dancing,Nick had to also.
And the parade begins…it was very cool.
And the last entry –a fire truck!
These were the first fireworks that Nick had seen. He was pretty nervous at first but then really enjoyed the booms. It was great!
