I was in the laundry room getting a couple wall anchors to hang a picture in our bedroom and heard several thumps. I immediately knew what it was and went running. I didn’t know which kid it was, but knew one of them was falling down the stairs. I got to the bottom of the steps just as Nick did and he screamed and screamed and screamed. I let him lay there for a minute until he got up himself to see if he hurt anything. He sat up on his own and I hugged him and cried with him for several minutes. Megan was still standing at teh top of the stairs with a stunned look on her face. I have a feeling she bumped him when she was trying to go downstairs. I know it was an accident so I’m trying hard not to yell at her. I hope I keep that patience!
Megan’s response after the crying was over? “He wasn’t crying when he was rolling down the stairs, Mommy. Just when he fell at the bottom”
