We got our bikes back from the shop today and were so excited to go biking. I had bells at church at 6:15, and we didn’t get to the shop to pick up a helmet for Nick until 5 so we knew we were cutting it close, but we did get in half an hour of biking and then I grabbed some quick supper and ran to church while Adam went to DQ with the kids and had a nice supper there. It felt *so good* to bike again and I’m still on a high about it all.
After Adam and the kids finished at DQ, he came home, grabbed the camera, and went out to the elementary school parking lot and let Megan try out her new bike (new to her, anyway – Adam bought it from the buy/sell/trade). Apparently it went really well and Megan came home so so so excited. While I was very happy that she loved it, I was disappointed that I missed it. Oh well. She said that I could watch her tomorrow. lol What a sweetheart. I am glad that Adam got to experience it with her, though. Life is crazy busy for him and it’s nice that he got some fun-time in with the kids.
